ON Introduces Flavor Options For The First Fully Instantized BCAA Powder

AURORA, ILLINOIS JULY 29th, 2010. Branched Chain Amino Acids, or BCAAs, are valued by both endurance and strength athletes for their ability to protect muscles against excessive catabolic breakdown during exercise, and promote the anabolic rebuilding process that follows. Unlike other amino acids, the three BCAAs Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine can be absorbed directly into muscle tissue and have the capacity to be burned as energy in the absence of carbohydrates. Optimum Nutrition (ON) is following up on introducing the first fully instantized BCAA powder by adding two new fruit flavors to the unfavored option currently available to active individuals.
