Testek is pleased to announce the firm order of a Brake Leak Tester console for an overseas maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) shop and a recent order for (4) Brake Leak Tester consoles for a military customer.
The Testek Brake Leak Tester is a compact testing solution for providing checkout and return to service tests on various aircraft brake assemblies. The test system provides for operational testing, static pressure testing, leak tests and flushing of brake assemblies as specified in the governing test documents (CMM, TO, etc).
Testek offers a single or dual station system with easy to use manual controls and data acquisition. The controls and gauges are ergonomically placed on the front panel of the control console facing the safety test enclosure. The test system is available in red-oil (MIL-H-5606, 83282) version with painted steel cabinet or in a stainless steel version for Skydrol (phosphate ester) use. The Skydrol version utilizes EPDM seals and is designed to accommodate the unique properties of Skydrol fluid. Standard features include quick disconnect fittings and hoses for proper fitment to the brake assemblies.
