Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller
According to reports Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller are untying the knot.
Things have apparently gone downhill since last Christmas when Sheen was arrested in Aspen for allegedly assaulting Mueller and threatening her with a knife. Sheen plead guilty to lesser charges and spent time in rehab. The couple have been living separately since that time.
TMZ obtained a property settlement document signed by Sheen and Mueller last May in which they agreed on the division of assets and child custody. According to the document Brooke gets $55,000 a month in child support, and physical custody of the twins. Charlie gets to keep his watch collection and has visitation rights.
Just last week, Sheen was reportedly found intoxicated and naked in a Plaza Hotel suite in NYC; he allegedly flew into a rage and caused $7,000 worth of damages to the suite.
Subsequent online reports suggested that Sheen was binging on cocaine and hookers back in L.A. and even close to death. The star’s manager stopped by the home over the weekend to check on Sheen. “Charlie is fine and will be at work on Tuesday,” the manager said in an email.
Mueller agreed with the assessment telling Extra: “Charlie is a survivor. He knows how to handle himself. You know how things get blown out of proportion.”
