Singer Jessica Simpson is set to marry ex-49ers player, Eric Johnson. Johnson, 31, and Simpson, 30, have been nearly inseparable since they met last May after being introduced by mutual friends.
The news comes just days after Jessica Simpson’s ex-husband Nick Lachey and his longtime girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo announced that they are getting married.
The couple plan on spending Thanksgiving together in New York. Simpson is set to perform during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade with Johnson’s family joining her on the float.
Simpson flashed her ruby, diamond and gold engagement ring from celebrity jeweler Neil Lane during a book signing appearance at Dillard’s in Kansas City on Saturday according to Us Magazine.
Jessica says of her relationship with Eric Johnson, “This is just normal, thank God. He’s very, very supportive. Couldn’t ask for a better man in my life right now.”
