NASCAR’s Kevin Harvick – Budweiser Team Up For 2011

The current NASCAR Sprint Cup points leader, Kevin Harvick, and team owner Richard Childress are completing a new three-year contract with Budweiser. The beer company will be the primary sponsor in 2011 replacing Shell/Pennzoil who moved to Penske Racing where it will sponsor Kurt Busch’s car.

Budweiser will be primary sponsor of Harvick’s No. 29 Chevrolet for 20 points races. In addition, they will sponsor two non-points races during Speedweeks at Daytona and act as co-primary sponsor of the Sprint All-Star Race. Budweiser will be an associate sponsor for the remaining races.

The thirty four-year-old Harvick is pleased with the move saying, “For me, this is a great brand to be associated with,”

Harvick has 14 Cup wins in his 10 seasons of full-time competition. Along with twice being Nationwide Series champion, Harvick has five top-ten career finishes in the standings. During his impressive career, Harvick has chalked up more than $61.2 million in prizes.
