Minnesota Vikings quarterback, Brett Favre, may not play in the Vikings final season game against the Detroit Lions on Sunday. Vikings interim coach Leslie Frazier said Thursday that Favre has yet to pass a concussion test that would clear him to play in the season finale at Detroit.

Frazier told Detroit-area correspondents on a conference call that it hasn’t been decided if another test on Thursday or Friday will be performed on Favre, adding Saturday would most likely be the latest the tests could be administered.

The 41-year-old Favre has repeatedly said this will be his final season. Minnesota is ending the season out of town against the Lions.

Favre’s NFL-record of beginning in 297 consecutive regular-season games ended earlier this year. He sustained a concussion in a game against the Bears 11 days ago. Favre failed to pass the concussion test before Tuesday’s game at Philadelphia thus ending his long streak.
