Preferred Therapy Providers Inc. Completes Negotiation Of Vendor Contract With Swingzilla

Preferred Therapy Providers, Inc. (Preferred) announced that it has signed Swingzilla (PowerMax Swing, LLC), as a preferred vendor for their national network of physical, occupational, and speech therapists.  Under the contract terms, members of Preferred’s Network receive a discounted rate on their training program.

Headquartered in Visalia, CA, Swingzilla (PowerMax Swing LLC) was founded by Dan Parma and Robert Bacci in 2007. The Swingzilla Power Training Method is a sports swing enhancement training technique that can dramatically enhance the performance in all types of sports swings.  By applying an isotonic concentric and eccentric resistive exercise program, muscle strength and power are increased, and both swing speed and power are maximized.

“We are excited to partner with Swingzilla and promote this unique training method to our network providers”, states Christy Beauchamp, Vice President of Preferred.  “Our goal is to keep our Network Members informed of enhanced services and programs they may offer within their practices; helping them to diversify and remain competitive”.

Swingzilla also has the potential of helping members of Preferred’s sub-network PSPN (Preferred Sports Provider Network) build and supplement their sports enhancement and injury prevention programs.

Founded in 1992 and based in Phoenix, Arizona, Preferred’s business model allows flexibility in contracting between private practitioners and various health plans and organizations. Preferred assumes responsibility for primary source verification of all practitioner elements that meet or exceed those required by nationally recognized standards, thereby reducing time, cost, and paperwork for both the PPO and provider. Currently, Preferred represents over 1200 clinics in 35 states and over 2800 individual therapists, serving more than 60 million members.
